About
Bernie Huizing has been involved in the high-tech industry for over 30 years, with most of those spent in software development. In more recent years, the focus of that development has been web applications utilizing Microsoft’s .NET technology with a backend Microsoft SQL Server database. With a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of British Columbia and registration as a Professional Engineer with the Association of Professional Engineers of British Columbia, Bernie has the expertise, experience, and passion to deliver quality products such as LSIM that meet or exceed customer’s expectations.
Bernie’s vision for LSIM is to provide a reliable, easy to use, end user focused software application at reasonable cost that enables learning support staff in a school to be more efficient in managing all the student data that needs to be tracked. LSIM was developed with the learning support coordinators at Abbotsford Christian School in a collaborative effort to ensure the product meets the needs of the user community. Those coordinators played a significant role in shaping the features and functionality provided by LSIM. As LSIM is introduced into more schools it is expected that the product will continue to evolve as others make suggestions for new features or enhancements of existing ones.
