LSIM - What is it?
LSIM (Learning Support Information Manager) is a web based application that school staff can use to manage all of the student records associated with Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Student Learning Plans (SLPs).
Educational Assistants
Educational Assistants can quickly and easily enter log records and progress on a daily basis against the pre-defined goals and objectives of an IEP. They can also log activities worked on for those students with an SLP.

Teachers
For each student, teachers can review the goals and objectives in a plan. They can examine the log records, progress records and activities entered by Educational Assistants. Where adaptations are necessary, teachers can quickly access those recommended adaptations. At term end, teachers can easily add comments and progress assessments for term IEP report cards.
Coordinators
Coordinators manage all aspects of the data from assigning staff to students, defining goals and objectives, reviewing log entries, to batch printing of reports. At term end, they can review “rolled-up” progress levels from EAs and Teachers and adjust as needed for the term reports.

Individual Education Plans
Provides the requried data fields for ensuring compliance with government requirements for documentation.
Student Learning Plans
Track activities and progress against simplified custom learning plans for those students who need additional support.
Customizable
Customize many aspects of the data tracked per campus so your school is not constrained by the limitations of the software or the needs of other campuses.
Privacy
Users can only access data they are authorized to see. Staff see data on a "need-to-know" basis and are only assigned to students they need to work with.
Central Database
All the data in one place so you can eliminate multiple documents stored on hard drives. Write once and propagate where needed, eliminating endless copy and paste operations associated with documents.
Web Browser Interface
Access all data through standard web-browsers using encrypted communications. Utilizes industry standard authentication schemes to provide a single-sign-on.
